A Tribute to Veterans

While photographing the second annual GI Film Festival in Washington D.C., I had the opportunity to meet famous Hollywood actor Mr. Gil Gerard, a guest at this year's festival. Gerard's has an amazing personality and has a great connection to the veteran community, which makes it an honor to photograph him.

We're getting married!

My friends got married last summer, and unfortunately, their wedding photographer didn't recommend shooting an engagement session. Lucky for me, this gave me the opportunity to take some great photos of a really great looking couple weeks before their big day. So there we were, at 9am , strolling around the streets of DC, taking photos.

Celebrities and their weird driving habits

I had the opportunity to take some photos of fashion designer Cynthia Rowley, who was the guest designer at the Marymount University "Portfolio in Motion" fashion show. I was waiting outside for her to arrive, expecting her to show up in a limo or fancy SUV. Boy was i surprised when she pulled up in a golf cart that she was driving herself!

Martial Arts - Studio Session with Ron

Thanks to my great friend Ron W., who I work with on photography for his upcoming book about Kung FU, I had the great opportunity to capture some of his moves in a studio.
The amazing part, it was so easy, due to his perfectionism in performing his moves.

Another great set from a great family!

Here’s another set of photos from a family portrait session I just shot. I was lucky enough to catch another beautiful day, and a very cute and cooperative set of boys.
A little comment on family portrait photo shoots. I am not a huge fan of the uniformed outfits and wearing same clothes or brands. I know, some will say it ties the photo together. I think, capturing the dynamics of the family well - that does it a lot better.

Who doesn't like birthdays? I gotta tell ya, if every wedding I photographed was rocking like this birthday...

Spring is in bloom!

Spring is the perfect time for family portraits. Last Sunday was a perfect 75 degree day, not a cloud in the sky and the azaleas were in full bloom. It was the ideal day to go photograph at the house of one of my favorite clients and friends. The photos turned out beautifully – thanks to some adorable girls and a beautiful spring day.

House on Haunted Hill

The things you see at 7:30 am are not the same as what you would see at the exact place, just a few hours later.

The fog around the hill’s dome make it look very old and haunted, don’t you think?

Sometime I leave everything, pick up my camera and just walk down the street. Where it all began for me in DC. I used to take a lot of street shots but as the business became a full time thing, I almost have no time anymore for just “myself”
