Hi everyone!
I am currently in Israel and as much as I am not attracted to Soccer, it is the Euro Championship and except my bathroom, everywhere, its being watched. I am at my friend's Irish Pub (Yes, those are very popular in Israel too), and everyone is glued to the big screen. So I whipped out my mini-micro camera and took a shot at the dark.

Chefs On Bikes 2008
On a beautiful morning like today, DC's best Chefs got together for their 5th annual ride through the city. I visited Hotel George with my friend Daniel to start the morning with a great breakfast, just before they start their ride, and met some of the riders and their choppers, like Maziar Farivar from Peacock Cafe and Yanis Felix of Bistro Du Coin.

Under the bridge
On my first shoot with Malinda Walker (27, Maryland), a very talented make-up artist and model, we actually got some great shots at only 45 minutes and while it's raining!
We found a spot right under key bridge, on K street and there is this door that was just perfect as background/prop. A lot more to come very soon from Malinda and my Camera!

What have we learned today?
This funny couple showed me a good laugh at the Barnes and Noble in Georgetown today, where they both couldn't stop laughing and neither could I.
From 10am to noon Hadar and I took plenty of photos of this great couple who are getting married in just a few months from now.
Congratulations!

Life under water
Something I've always been interested in and wanted to photograph. but until I do underwater photography in the Caribbean, the fish tank at the Petco will do.
Looks good, doesn't it?

Bored in an elevator
Wasn't there a song that goes like that? This is the result of boredom, way back in the days where I didn't hold a camera 12 hours a day 6 days a week...

Yes, I shoot Bar/Bat-Mitzvah's too!
Yet I chose not to show the usual Mitzvah shots, but some of the portraits of a beautiful girl and how we (Hadar and I)capture portraits of the young adults on their important day!
New Kid on the Block
This little guy is only 5 weeks old! I was out in Upperville VA, taking photos of his older brother at the Upperville Horse Show last weekend and could not help it, had to snap a few.

Yet another way to protest!
Biking in the streets of Washington D.C., between Capitol Hill, the White House and other landmarks, this group protests against.. well, you see against what, right here.

Artomatic and Barbara Treasure.
On First Street, NE, there is a beautiful art exhibit called "Artomatic". I visited it on a stormy Sunday and met a few of the artists there. One of the artists that caught my eye was Barbara Treasure. She was sketching, along with a few others, the crane in the following photos. When her work is complete, I will ask her to feature it on my blog. I decided to mirror her final sketch of the contrasting dark pencil over the white paper by making my image black and white.
I encourage you to go see the exhibit, www.artomatic.org
Enjoy!

At the National Mall last week I met the crew from Sesame Street and went back stage with them to snap a few photos of their worldwide tour.
Here they are -- show your kids!

What a distorted city huh?
Normally I’d fix the distortion caused by using a wide angle but this made me look at the big city in a different perspective.
I took this one randomly, later saw the potential of it. Here ya go!
