Sometimes it’s the carefree kids parties that I enjoy photographing the most! This last Sunday, I photographed Bilal’s 7th birthday. The kids splashed around the pool, played with water guns and ate snow cones and cupcakes. It was a really fun day for the kids, and I have to admit, for me as well!
I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather last Saturday and checked out the Taste of Bethesda. I didn’t eat any food, but got a few fun shots, including this one of this golden retriever who was too cool to take off his sunglasses.
But I did not have any rain gear for my camera and lens so I bailed at half time from this great game between DC United and Cruz Azul (Mexico), at RFK Stadium. The spots that look like haze are actually the heavy rain that that pored. I've shot sports before, but it was my first time shooting a soccer game and i think it came out not so bad, eh? In the process of wrapping up all the post process work on Giin and Sean's wedding from last Saturday, I've decided to post a second "teaser" to my viewers and to the great couple. Another 31 selected images out of hundreds. The cupcakes, the speeches, dancing, pre and post ceremony shots that were just so much fun to take, where I had to convince them to give me "just 5 more minutes!"... It's so hard to choose since there are just so many great photos to choose from. So, enjoy!
Here she comes!
The Dogs...
I know you've seen this before in my posts but it's a classic and one of my favorite shots of all time in weddings.
